A Goal-Based Program to Customize your Training

The Coaching Staff at CrossFit Fargo is committed to providing what's right for you. Starting Monday, March 2nd, our program will look a bit different. We are introducing goal-based programming to include tracks for Fitness, Performance, Sport, and Advanced Competitors. Here's what you need to know.

There will be three options for both the Strength and Conditioning component of class: 1. Fitness: This is for people who have a goal of improving body composition, health and wellness. This option is also suitable for people who are new to CrossFit and still learning movement mechanics. The programming focus is on cardio, functional movement mechanics, functional body building, and time under tension. AKA everything to help make you look better naked. 2. Performance: This option is for athletes who have mastered the basics and are ready to move onto more technical skills, but they might still have a goal of improving body composition. The programming focus is on increasing intensity through compound movements and improving technique on higher level skills. 3. Sport: This option is for athletes that have mastered the basics and are training to compete in CrossFit Competitions. Highly technical lifts and gymnastics skills will be included in the program. 3.1: ACP: The Advanced Competitor Program is an option for athletes who are looking to take their training to the next level. Monday-Friday will include pre-WOD ACP work, and post-WOD ACP Accessories. If you choose to do the ACP work outside of class, please go out of your way to be sure you are not disrupting any class that might be in session. The purpose of goal-oriented programming is to customize your training to your own individual wants and needs. Scaling is available within each of the 3 options to further individualize your workout.
